My Classroom’s Writing Center

In the six-plus hours that I spent in my classroom today, I spent at least an hour tweaking the way the Writing Center looked. I think I finally got it right (and yes, I realize the kids will touch it and it won’t look like this forever after Tuesday).
I’m going to do a Writing Workshop Walk-Through (a la Vopat) on Tuesday and show my incoming class how I’d like them to take care of the resources in the Writing Center. I hope that this guided discovery, of sorts, will help it to look as organized and neat as possible.

It was a nursing home prior to becoming a school. Hence, I have what used to be four indiv. patient rooms as my classroom.
