A One Week Poetry Challenge: DAY 1 of 8
I’m hosting Seders for the first time in my life this Passover. Therefore, my mind has been on recipes lately (and the quest to find a recipe for the “perfect” charoset). Therefore, I was surprised to learn about a poetic form called a “Recipe Poem,” which uses the language found in cookbooks.
If you need poetic inspiration today, then try a recipe poem for the first day of this week-long challenge. If you do this, remember that you need ingredients and directions. Finally, check out Wild Rose Reader’s Blog to see some work she did around recipe poems a few days ago.
