Some notes I took from Carl Anderson’s Revision Class (first session) at the TCRWP Writing Institute. It’s all about how to make revision more meaningful and useful for kids so that they don’t dread it!

When teaching students revision…does he talk at all about what type of revision is best suited for certain units? Did he touch more on what the scaffolding looks like or what book would you recommend to read to learn more about teaching primary writers to revise their writing?
Thanks for the notes! Wish I could go to this institute. What does he mean by spider legs?
I love these peeks into your time at TC!
BTW, love the new header!
thanks for a peek into what you’re learning!
i’ve found janet angelillo’s making revisions matter (scholastic) to be a great resource.
