Sign-Up to Confer With Me!
My kids were getting ready to publish their personal essays yesterday. However, I knew they were all in different places. Therefore, I allowed them to sign-up for strategy lessons today based on their needs. Here’s what the sign-up “sheet” looked like:
This idea was an “ah ha” and “duh” at the same time! Why hadn’t this ever occurred to me? What a fantastic idea, give kids a choice about the kind of conference they need! What a neat way to hold students accountable for reflecting on their needs as writers!
