Day 2 of 31: SOLSC
We're delighted you are joining us for the Third Annual Slice of Life Story Challenge!
Welcome to the second day of our month-long writing challenge! Please link your Slice of Life Story, using the exact URL of the post you’re submitting today, to this post by leaving a comment before 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time today. Just scroll to the bottom of this post to leave the link to your writing for the day.
Did you miss the first day of the Slice of Life Story Challenge? That doesn’t mean that you cannot start writing now. Anyone who starts writing between today and March 5th (and then writes for all the rest of the days this month) will be entered into a drawing to win one of the following two items:
A one-year membership to the IRA, along with a year-long subscription to The Reading Teacher (journal).
Kids Can Press is donating a package of all four books in Melanie Watt's Scaredy Squirrel Series.

However, if you’ve never posted a comment on TWT before, or if your comment contains more than one hyperlink, then your comment will be held for moderation. We will monitor blog comments a few times today so we can approve submissions that do not post automatically. Therefore, there is no need to re-post your comment if it doesn’t appear immediately.
Finally, Chronicle Books is providing ALL Slice of Life Story Challenge Participants with a 30% off discount & free shipping for any purchases made on their website during the month of March. The promo code is TWOWRITINGTEACHERS (all caps, no spaces). Click here to go to their website.
