I’m not sure if I’ll have time to post today or not but wanted to give you all a doggy update. My husky, Sasha, went into surgery this morning for a torn doggy ACL. When the surgeon got in there, he found that she had torn two of her ligaments. He said that the surgery went well and that she is doing great. Thank you for all the good vibes and well wishes.

I’ve been thinking a lot lately about the John Lennon quote: “Life is what happens to you while you’re busy making other plans”

I think I have been slicing pretty consistently for close to three years now but nothing has given me the passion to write like my recent trip to Uganda.

This is cheating. It was my only post this week. I’ve been too busy to post or write anything. I got to PA just in time for my grandson’s birth. Grandpa left yesterday for home and I am staying here for a week longer to help out my daughter. Even I forgot how tired a new mom gets! http://mainelywrite.blogspot.com/2011/08/great-day-to-be-born.html
