Today marks the “Still Learning” day for me. As a college instructor, I assign a challenging task for one of the classes I teach. Students have heard about it, had friends that have completed, and all seem to enter with that look—are you really going to make us write a book. These students plan to teach kindergarten-12th grades and they all have their opinions about their writing and about how writing should be taught or ignored. Well one of the ways I teach them about teaching writing is to examine their writing process. I have finished reviewing and commenting on each one’s work and this is what I will read to the class tomorrow.
