Slice of Life Story Challenge

Slice 2012: 15 of 31

Share your link in the comments then respond to 3 (or more) other slicers.

I think this week of the challenge is a tough one. Days 11 – 17 can be grueling. The newness has worn off, the end of the month feels far away, and writing topics seem to be hard to come by. You can make it though! This week I’ll share nuggets of inspiration to make writing a little less painful.

Great stories happen to those who can tell them.

  1. TO ALL SLICERS HAVING TROUBLE COMMENTING ON POSTS:

There is a major problem with WordPress’s commenting feature, http://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/you-must-be-logged-in-to-comment?replies=7. We learned about it last night and apparently it persists into today. I’m going to try to see if I can fix any of our comment settings to help with the problem. However, we do NOT have the following feature turned on “Users must be registered and logged in to comment.” (And as of right now, this looks like it would’ve been the only way to fix the problem.)

This is an issue for all WordPress blogs, not just ours. Stay tuned for more info.

  2. Wow — Day 15?
Yesterday, I took my video camera down to our river to catch a Video Slice of a river sculpture project a neighbor and his grandson are constructing from “lost items.”

PS — I had trouble posting my comment this morning, Ruth/Stacey. Your blog kept telling me I was not logged in, and yet, I was. I switched to my Twitter login.
