A rant because my sophomore son spent nearly 6 hours on homework and I’m tired and frustrated that the 2nd graders I pull for reading had no real idea of the difference between short and long vowels. And I’m tired. ;-P

MY 50TH POST! Summer is about to depart with the commencement of Labor Day. With that passage, schools start in New York. The changing of guard from summer to fall is too quickly approaching.
