Classroom Commenting Challenge #comments4kids
Have you had a look at some of the slice of life stories the students who are participating in the Classroom Challenge have been writing? I am so impressed — with the students’ writing and with the work their teachers have done to help the challenge become a reality for their students.
This is the second commenting challenge that’s part of the 6th Annual Slice of Life Story Challenge. Anyone who has been writing and linking daily may participate in this commenting challenge. Your challenge, if you choose to accept it, is to comment on as many classroom slice of life stories as possible for the next 48 hours.
Up for grabs is a prize package which includes a copy of Heather Rader’s book, Side by Side, and her DVD, On the Same Page. Many thanks to Choice Literacy for sponsoring this giveaway.
Giveaway Specifics (Please read carefully!):
Please keep track of the blogs you comment on all day today through tomorrow (11:59 p.m. EDT on Wed., 3/13/13). Once you’re finished commenting, please come back to THIS post and leave your name and/or the username you’ve been using for the SOLSC, your blog URL, and the exact number of blogs you’ve commented over the course of 48 hours. (NOTE: If you visit a student’s blog today and tomorrow, please count that blog only once in your tally.)
The person* who comments on the most blogs will win this prize package. I am asking for everyone’s good faith participation when it comes to reporting the number of comments you have left on classroom slicers’ blogs.
* = If there are two or more people who left the same number of comments, then I will draw the winner’s name out of a hat.
When you leave your comment on this post by 11:59 p.m. EDT on Thursday. 3/14, please have it look like this (customized with your information, of course) in order for your entry to count:
Name: Stacey Shubitz/User Name for SOLSC: Stacey
My blog URL for the SOLSC: http://raisealithuman.wordpress.com
I commented on (number) posts from 3/12 – 3/13/13.
Please do not leave the link to your slice of life story here. Please go to Ruth’s call for slices for today or tomorrow (depending on what day you’re reading this post) to leave the unique URL to your slice.
Updated on 3/17/13: Congratulations to Elsie who commented on 45 blogs as part of this challenge!
