My 7th grade students are playing the Game of Poetry. This week’s challenge: write a poem that includes the words “fireworks” and “star.” We were very excited yesterday about the possibility of our first snow day this winter; but our excitement was short lived…no accumulation. I decided to write about it for my Game of Poetry submission.
